A Workshop Led by Kay Kleinerman, Ed.D.

Saturday Oct. 17th, 12:00pm – 5:00pm

Thought about your voice lately?  One of your greatest assets is that set of cords set squarely in the middle of your throat that sends your sound into the world.  Your voice is the center of who you are.  Everything you want to express, everything you want to be is in your voice.  Those who know how to use their voices powerfully inspire others to listen.  If you want to learn how to use your voice with gut-level strength, passion and confidence, join this unique workshop with scholar, writer, educator, and musician Kay Kleinerman, Ed.D.

This is not an audition workshop or a repertoire workshop.  This is an interactive learning experience, during which you’ll discover new aspects of your voice that will change the way you think about it, and expand your ability to use it.  Through voice work, breath work, movement, partner and group discussion, journaling, melody analysis and text analysis, you’ll learn how participation in singing can foster self-discovery, self-knowledge, self-awareness, self-assurance, and a sense of your own unique vocal strength and capability.
